    A village, only 24 kilometers to Bodrum, at the heart of Anatolia.

    The village of Etrim is known for producing wonderfully intricate hand-knotted carpets.

    This nomadic village has population of 300 people. The life is based on farming, animal breeding and weaving. Weaving House and accommodation are located in center of Etrim village in an Olive garden. Your accommodation is a village home full of traditional Turkish pieces and of course carpets & kilims.

    Weaving process itself a craft that has been passed down the generations in the village. You will observe and learn step by step how carpets are woven by skillful village ladies. All classes are translated into English.

    Cooking is always has been prime inportance for village girls as ıt is the key of getting marry. J These village girls will intoroduce you the village food culture and you will cook them for your family and friends in your special hosts back at home.

    Once classes are over for the day, you are free to continue practising your carpet weaving and cooking or take a trip to Diamond of Aegean Cost the city Bodrum, vineyard of Garaova and taste local wine, one of nearby beaches.
